Burmese Novice

.
I took this picture, one of my most favorites, at Inle Lake in Burma.  The little novice was coming in from the fields with a group of other novices.  As he crossed a bridge, I indicated that I wanted to take his picture.  He readily posed.  As I positioned my zoom lens to get just the right angle, I moved backwards on the bridge.  I fell in a hole on the bridge.  My leg went all the way down, bruising and scraping it all the way up.   Naturally, a dozen people were in the area -- all laughing at (not with) me.   However, the little boy held his position and pose.  He wanted his picture taken as much as I wanted to take it.
