Some things are just not meant to be.     Hopefully you will have better luck than the author of this web site. There was only one room closed on the day that I visited the Louvre Museum in Paris.c Yes, you guessed it.c It was the room with Hammurabi's stela on display.c But, it did give me a reason to go back to Paris.

Fortunately, while living in Belgium, I returned to Paris -- and the Louvre -- many times. Click here to see photos taken at the Louvre. If you ever go to Paris, you may agree with me that it's better to visit Hammurabi's stelae instead of the Mona Lisa.
